NHL Daily Fantasy Helper: Tuesday 11/8/16

Matt Murray has a juicy matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. Which other players should we check out for NHL DFS?

A good chunk of you probably already play daily fantasy football, and I'd be willing to bet a significant portion have also tried out daily fantasy basketball and baseball. But hockey? Hockey?

It's time to give it a try over on FanDuel.com, because it's a ton of fun. And our analysis and projections can help you win.

To help, take a look at some goalies, high-priced skaters, and lower-priced players to target for today's slate.

Goalies to Target

Matt Murray ($9,200): As a rookie last season, Murray's 2.00 goals against average (GAA) led all goalies with 10 or more games played, and his .930 save percentage trailed only Carey Price. After a delayed start to this season due to a broken hand suffered at the World Cup of Hockey, he has picked up right where he left off. In two starts last week, he stopped 65 of the 66 shots he faced and won both games with an average of 39.6 FanDuel points per game. Among all goalies with two or more starts this season, Murray ranks first in both GAA and save percentage. Among all of the 20 teams playing tonight, our numbers give the Pittsburgh Penguins the highest probability of winning, and only two teams have a lower implied total than their opponent, the Edmonton Oilers.
