Penguins' Eric Fehr set to face former teammates Monday

Pittsburgh Penguins winger Eric Fehr will play against his former Washington Capitals' teammates on Monday night.

What It Means:

Fehr missed the first matchup against his former club, as he was out with an elbow injury when Pittsburgh played the Caps on October 28. Fehr explained his sentiments prior to Monday's contest by saying, "It's definitely a game you want to win, that's for sure. A lot of friends over there, but today's a big game for us. We've got a new coach here, and we're going to try to get on a new roll and start playing a better style of hockey. It starts tonight."

Fehr has just 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists) in 18 games played this season. We don't project his scoring to get kick-started against the Caps, as we have him taking 1.28 shots, scoring 0.12 goals, and tallying 0.14 assists. Unfortunately for Fehr and the Penguins' new head coach, they have to face the Caps, who own the second best team nERD at 0.62.
