Stars' Cody Eakin scores overtime winner, ties series 2-2

Dallas Stars center Cody Eakin scored the overtime winner for the Stars in Game 4 on Thursday night, sending the series with the St. Louis Blues back to Dallas squared at 2-2.

What It Means:

After picking up seven assists in nine postseason games, Eakin chose a great moment to score his first goal of the playoffs. The 24-year-old has picked up the offensive slack left by the injured Tyler Seguin. Jamie Benn and Jason Spezza each had two points to boost the Stars.

Eakin had 16 goals and 19 assists in the regular season. His 48.3 Corsi For Percentage and -7.6 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength were both career-worst marks.
