Nick Bonino had maintenance day for Penguins
Pittsburgh Penguins center Nick Bonino had a maintenance day on Wednesday, according to coach Mike Sullivan.
Bonino was the only Penguins regular not to attend Wednesday's practice. He might be playing through an ailment that he took the day to rest. Either way, it sounds like he's still projected to play in Game 5 on Thursday.
In his first season with Pittsburgh, Bonino totaled nine goals and 20 helpers in 63 games during the regular season. His 51.5 Corsi For Percentage was a career high, while his -2.6 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength was a significant drop from last season's mark of 1.8. Bonino has tallied 17 points (4 goals, 13 assists) in 22 playoff games this season.
