Maple Leafs could bring back P.A. Parenteau

The Toronto Maple Leafs are open to bringing back potential unrestricted free agent P.A. Parenteau.

What It Means:

"There have been a couple of discussions. Very preliminary. I would say every possibility is on the table," Parenteau's agent, Allan Walsh, said earlier this week. "They have not closed the door to him coming back, but I don't think it's a decision that's going to be made now. I think it's a decision that's going to be made just before we get to July 1." He recorded 20 goals and 41 points in 77 games with the Leafs last season.

Parenteau posted solid possession stats this season, recording a Corsi For Percentage of 54.6 and a Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength of 2.9, both of which were better than his career averages. His 20 goals led Toronto and he was second in points.
