The injury forced Hertl to miss the next four games of the series, but the positive news is that he won't need surgery. Hertl will likely continue to rehab the ailment over the summer.

Hertl tallied the most points of his young career in the regular season, recording 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 81 games played. He was excellent at driving possession, as well, posting a Corsi For Percentage of 56.1 and a Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength of 3.3.
