Blues' Alex Steen (shoulder) progressing well
St. Louis Blues winger Alex Steen is progressing well from shoulder surgery.
Steen is hoping to be healthy enough to play in the World Cup of Hockey for Team Sweden, but he may not be able to recover in time for the tournament. However, this is still encouraging news, because it could suggest that Steen will be ready for the start of the regular season.
Steen was productive last season, tallying 52 points (17 goals, 35 assists) in 67 games played. He was mediocre at driving possession, however, posting a 50.0 Corsi For Percentage and a -1.4 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength.
