Senators sticking Craig Anderson on netminder duties Thursday
Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson will start against the Boston Bruins on Thursday night.
Anderson will be making his third start in four days for the Senators, who take on the best offense in the NHL tonight as they compete for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. He notched his fifth shutout of the season on Tuesday with a 24-save effort over the Detroit Red Wings on the second night of a back-to-back.
numberFire's models project Anderson to allow 2.5 goals and make 27.5 saves while having a 37.0 percent chance of defeating the Bruins.
