Questions
PPR Keeper league, I can only keep one--who should I keep!? Mike Evans, 5th Round. Michael Thomas, 13th Round. Jordy Nelson, 15th Round.
Choose one. If I keep them I lose that round pick. Evans, i lose a 5th rounder. Michael Thomas I lose a 13th rounder. And Jordy Nelson I lose a 15th rounder. Problem with Jordy is I'm not sure how much longer he will be able to compete. Guys like Evans and Thomas are good for a few more years at least. Please assist!

Brees does spread the ball around and if both players were healthy I'd bet on Jordy outscoring him in fantasy but not by a whole lot. You have to factor in injury concerns for Jordy into the equation. Agreed Brees likes to spread the ball around but like Jordy - Thomas had a high volume of red zone looks. Tough call between the two. Maybe think which one you would pick if a gun were held to your head... then select the other as no one make really good decisions with a gun held to their head! lol

Good luck with the decision it's a nice problem to have!

Ahh! So you definitely wouldn't keep Evans at 5? What about Melvin Gordon at a 4th round. You'd still go with Michael Thomas at 13 over everyone?

Yes I would go with Thomas over everyone for sure! Your team must have been really good last season with those four players - nice job!

If this is a one year keeper then Jordy Nelson in th 15th round is the answer. If you can keep the player for multiple seasons in this draft slot or even with annual rising draft slot (by two or three rounds) then Michael Thomas is the best pick. Evans is primed for a great year but the disparity in the draft slots is too great not too choose Nelson or Thomas. Lets us know what you do and good luck!

Thanks for the response. That's the way I'm also leaning. It is indeed a multi-season keeper league. I will lose 3 rounds on Evans next year. But, I must admit, it is tempting to keep Jordy as he was the best WR in the league last year, and doesn't show much sign of slowing down even though he is 32. You're not concerned with Brees' tendency to spread the ball around, and Michael Thomas not getting as many looks as guys in that Tier 1 or even Tier 2 range?

I'd go Thomas. Short term and long term his prospects look good.
