3 FanDuel Premier League Under-the-Radar Plays for Matchweek 2

Tottenham players will be popular picks, but West Ham's Jack Wilshere could provide a nice return in a not-so-obvious spot.

If you have played daily fantasy sports for a while, you know the importance of being contrarian in large-field tournaments. Recognizing which players are going to be owned by the masses and finding others who you think have a similar point projection but will come at much lower ownership can really separate yourself from your opponents.

The same goes for DFS Premier League. Even though the large-field tournaments aren't quite as large as they are for other sports, there is still value in identifying quality under-the-radar plays.

This article will discuss FanDuel's main Sunday slate, which starts at 10:00 a.m. EST and features five matches.

Matchweek 2
Saturday, August 18th
Wolves at Leicester City
Bournemouth at West Ham
Fulham at Tottenham
Southampton at Everton
Arsenal at Chelsea

The second main slate of the year features three elite sides in Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal. In the marquee game of the slate, Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge where they are 0.5-goal underdogs. Tottenham is 1.5-goal favorites at home against Fulham and will carry high ownership. Despite their plethora of summer transfers and optimism heading into the new season, Fulham lost their opener to Crystal Palace last weekend.

Tottenham should have success this weekend and are worth having some exposure to even at their expected high levels of ownership.

With that in mind, here are three players to consider -- especially four tournament formats -- this weekend.
