3 FanDuel Premier League Under-the-Radar Plays for Matchweek 4

Manchester City players will be popular picks, but Brighton's Glenn Murray could provide a nice return in a not-so-obvious spot.

If you have played daily fantasy sports for a while, you know the importance of being contrarian in large-field tournaments. Recognizing which players are going to be owned by the masses and finding others who you think have a similar point projection but will come at much lower ownership can really separate yourself from your opponents.

The same goes for DFS Premier League. Even though the large-field tournaments aren't quite as large as they are for other sports, there is still value in identifying quality under-the-radar plays.

This article will discuss FanDuel's main Saturday slate, which starts at 10:00 a.m. EST and features six matches.

Matchweek 4
Saturday, September 1st
Bournemouth at Chelsea
Huddersfield at Everton
Wolves at West Ham
Southampton at Crystal Palace
Fulham at Brighton
Newcastle at Manchester City

The fourth main slate of the season is the first one to feature Manchester City. As is usually the case these days, City are massive favorites, with a spread of 2.5 goals at home against Newcastle. Manchester City also has the late game, which creates a difficult situation from a roster construction standpoint. Similar to last week with Liverpool and Arsenal, this should lower ownership slightly on Chelsea's players, despite their excellent spot. That said, fade Manchester City at your own risk. Their draw against Wolves could look like a distant memory after they host Newcastle on Saturday.

With that in mind, here are three players to consider -- especially for tournament formats -- this weekend.
