Danny Ings, Forward, Southampton

Salary: $11,000

Ings is the third-highest priced player on the slate, and he has averaged 19.82 FanDuel points through 10 matches. But after averaging 24.44 FanDuel points in his first five matches of the season and reaching the 20-point mark in three matches, Ings’ FanDuel production has declined over his last five matches. He has averaged 15.2 FanDuel points over that span, scoring just one goal -- from the penalty spot -- while reaching the 20-point mark just once.

The Saints are a slight favorite over the Hornets, per FanDuel Sportsbook, and the match has a 45.5 % probability of totaling over 2.5 goals. Despite failing to score an open-play goal in his previous five matches, Ings’ anytime goal-scoring probability is set at 35.7%.

Watford have allowed more than one goal just once this season away from Vicarage Road (against Arsenal), while the Saints have scored more than one goal just once this season at St. Mary’s Stadium, and have been held without a goal in three matches on their home pitch -- including two straight. The Hornets have allowed the fourth-fewest shots (110) and fifth-fewest goals (11) to all positions this season.

Ings has scored three goals on the road this season compared to just one on his home pitch, and is priced higher than Jamie Vardy ($10,500) and Lucas Moura ($10,000), who both seemingly offer safer floors as well as tournament-winning upside, making Ings an extremely risky play, especially at his price.
