3 FanDuel Premier League Under-the-Radar Plays for Matchweek 13

With Manchester City and Liverpool likely to command heavy ownership, other players in good spots -- like Brighton's Glenn Murray -- could go overlooked.

If you have played daily fantasy sports for a while, you know the importance of being contrarian in large-field tournaments. Recognizing which players are going to be owned by the masses and finding others who you think have a similar point projection but will come at much lower ownership can really separate yourself from your opponents.

The same goes for DFS Premier League. Even though the large-field tournaments aren't quite as large as they are for other sports, there is still value in identifying quality under-the-radar plays.

This article will discuss FanDuel's main Saturday slate, which starts at 10:00 a.m. EST and features seven matches.

Matchweek 13
Saturday, November 24th
Liverpool at Watford
Manchester City at West Ham
Crystal Palace at Manchester United
Leiciester City at Brighton
Cardiff at Everton
Southampton at Fulham
Chelsea at Tottenham

The 13th main slate of the season features five elites sides, the most in a single slate since the start of the season, and is highlighted by the afternoon clash between Chelsea and Tottenham. Manchester City is the largest favorites on the slate, with an implied win probability of 80.39% on the road against West Ham. Manchester United is the second largest favorites, with an implied win probability of 72.97% at home against Crystal Palace, while Everton are and Liverpool are both one-goal favorites against Cardiff and Liverpool respectively. The remaining three matches are all pick' ems.

With three elite sides in good spots, there are a plethora of options at the top end of each position. The usual studs for both Manchester City and Liverpool will see the highest ownership on the slate, but secondary options on those sides should see reduced ownership as a result of the variety of options available. Manchester United are in an interesting spot, as Paul Pogba ($9,500), Anthony Martial ($10,000), Marcus Rashford ($9,000), Romelu Lukaku ($11,000), and Victor Lindelöf ($4,500) all suffered from either injury or illness over the international break, and Luke Shaw ($6,000) is suspended due to yellow card accumulation. These potential absences may open up excellent value options, who would likely draw high levels of ownership.

With that in mind, here are three players to consider -- especially for tournament formats -- this weekend as these three may fly under the radar.
