3 FanDuel Premier League Under-the-Radar Plays for Matchweek 22
If you have played daily fantasy sports for a while, you know the importance of being contrarian in large-field tournaments. Recognizing which players are going to be owned by the masses and finding others who you think have a similar point projection but will come at much lower ownership can really separate yourself from your opponents.
The same goes for DFS Premier League. Even though the large-field tournaments aren't quite as large as they are for other sports, there is still value in identifying quality under-the-radar plays.
This article will discuss FanDuel's main Saturday slate, which starts at 10:00 a.m. EST and features six matches.

The 22nd main slate of the season features two elite sides coming in off of losses in their last match. Chelsea, fresh off their narrow one-goal defeat to Tottenham in the first leg of their League Cup semifinal, is the largest favorite on the slate with an implied win probability of 81.5% at home against Newcastle. Liverpool, looking to get back to winning ways after their shock defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup, is the second-largest favorite with an implied win probability of 76.7% on the road against Brighton.
Of the non-elite sides, Leicester City is the largest favorite, with an implied win probability of 51.2% at home against Southampton. Burnley, Cardiff, and Crystal palace round out the slate as slight home favorites.
Chelsea is the largest favorite, but Liverpool is likely to carry higher ownership. While their loss to Wolves was a disappointment, especially on the back of their defeat to Manchester City, they are still a far better side in the final third than Chelsea and their goals come from a very narrow range of players. Its been 13 matches across all competitions since the last time Liverpool failed to score, and they have only failed to score in a Premier League match once this season, their home fixture against Manchester City back in October. There will be goals, even against a Brighton side that are much better at home.
Chelsea, on the other hand, has been kept off the scoresheet twice in their last four Premier League matches, versus Southampton and Leicester City, and haven't scored more than two goals in a match since November.
With that in mind, here are three players to consider this weekend -- especially for tournament formats -- who may fly under the radar.
