The 29th main slate of the season features the two elite sides from Manchester, one fighting for the Premier League title and one fighting for the final Champions League spot. Manchester City is the largest favorite on the slate, with an implied win probability of 84.62% on the road against Bournemouth. Even with their injury troubles lingering, Manchester United is the second largest favorite on the slate with an implied win probability of 69.70% at home against Southampton.
Of the non-elite sides, Wolves is the largest favorite, with an implied win probability of 67.74% at home against Cardiff. Brighton is the next largest favorite, with an implied win probability of 55.56% at home against Huddersfield. In the two remaining matches, West Ham is a slight home favorite in a pick em' against Newcastle, and Crystal Palace is slight road favorites in a pick em' against Burnley.
After overcoming their injuries to easily defeat Crystal Palace on Wednesday, Manchester United's players will likely challenge Manchester City's players for the highest ownership on the slate. Manchester City is the better team, and they are in the better spot, but the salary discount available on United's forwards and midfielders should see them end up just as popular this weekend. If both Gabriel Jesus ($11,500) and Marcus Rashford ($11,000) return from injury this weekend, consider using Jesus for tournaments, as he will offer similar upside to Rashford at less ownership.
