Rice is tied with three other players as the fourth-highest midfielder on the slate, and he has averaged 11.49 FanDuel points this season -- the lowest average among midfielders priced at or above $8,000. Rice has scored fewer than 15 FanDuel points in seven of his last eight matches, producing fewer than 10 FanDuel points in three matches over that span.

The Hammers are a large favorite over the Terriers, and the match has a 56.1% chance of totaling under 2.5 goals, according to oddsmakers.

Despite scoring in Matchweek 29, Rice is not a huge threat in the Hammers’ attack, and he currently sits in sixth in the Premier League with 80 tackles -- making five or more tackles in three of his last four matches. The Terriers have not scored a goal in five straight matches on the road and have produced the fifth-fewest tackles (488) to all positions this season. In their previous match, Rice made two tackles and recorded 7.8 FanDuel points -- his seventh-lowest FanDuel output this season when starting.

At the same price point, Youri Tielemans has produced more than 10 FanDuel points in five straight matches since joining the Foxes and should have scoring opportunities against the Clarets. And there are other players in the West Ham midfield, including Felipe Anderson ($7,500), who should do more in attack than Rice does.
