League of Legends Daily Fantasy Helper: LCS, 7/10/20

FanDuel is offering League of Legends daily fantasy, and look, if you don't know what that is, it's okay.

I have you covered with a detailed but straightforward primer to get you all set up, whether you're a DFS player looking to dig into the new sport, or a League of Legends fan ready to take your action over to FanDuel.

The LCS Summer Split is officially here, and the official schedule is here, which will show you each week they will have two games on Fridays, four on Saturdays, and four on Sundays. All matches are a single game, not a best-of-three series. This slate locks on Friday, July 10th at 9 p.m. EST.

Immortals versus Dignitas

Let's get one thing out of the way -- this match isn't going to be a display of top-tier League of Legends. But we can still find some fantasy options here.

Dignitas are in 10th place in the NA LCS with a record of 0-8, while Immortals are in 9th with a record of 1-7. See? Not the best quality of teams going head-to-head, but if it turns into a sloppy game, there could be fantasy points to capture.

Immortals switched up their starting lineup a few weeks ago after their poor start. It now consists of Allorim ($7,700), Xmithie ($8,400), Insanity ($8,500), Apollo ($9,700), and Hakuho ($7,500).

Among the new starters, Insanity has the highest (5.6) Kill/Death/Assist (KDA) and the third-highest (70%) Kill Participation (KP) Rate. All of this has led him to post 23 and 29 FanDuel points in his last two games, both of which were losses.

Apollo is a long-time veteran who has been known to always be solid but not elite. He comes in averaging 3.5 kills per game with a 72.5% KP Rate. Apollo and Insanity would be the highest-upside players on Immortals. Hakuho has a 75% KP Rate and is viable due to his lower salary.

Dignitas have also made some roster changes -- with Lourlo ($7,300) in the top lane, Dardoch ($7,800) in the jungle, and Fenix ($8,000) in Mid. Both Johnsun ($9,100) and aphromoo ($7,100) remained in the lineup from the original starting five. If there are any more lineup changes, they will be announced here.

Since they are 0-8, the production from their players is lacking in all areas. We know that players on the losing side score only about 60% of the FanDuel points compared to players on the winning side, so there isn't much to conclude here. With that said, both Johnsun and Fenix would be the players to target from Dignitas. They have very friendly salaries in relation to the positions they play -- ADC and Mid, respectively -- which are two of the higher-scoring positions.

FlyQuest versus 100 Thieves

FlyQuest (5-3) are tied for third place in the LCS, while 100 Thieves (2-6) are trying to climb out of the basement.

As you would imagine, FlyQuest are the favorites in this series, and without a doubt they are the best team on the entire slate. If you are making a single lineup for this slate, stack FlyQuest. If you are making 100 lineups for this slate, stack FlyQuest. They are the most expensive team, but they're the team that presents the safest floor of points.

Everything starts with PowerOfEvil ($9,000) in the Mid lane for FlyQuest, as he is their best player. He has posted 20 FanDuel points or more in all eight of their games in the Summer Split, with six of them being at 33 FanDuel points or more. He has three deaths or fewer in seven of their eight games and one death or fewer in four of the eight. POE is an absolute monster in the Mid Lane. He is their carry, and they will look to funnel kills toward him at every opportunity.

MasH ($10,100) has the seventh-highest (6.36) KDA among all players in the LCS Summer Split and is averaging the fourth-most (5.0) kills per game. His KP Rate is slightly lower compared to PowerOfEvil's, which gives him a lower floor, but being an ADC gives him an equally high ceiling.

Santorin ($8,800) has been ballin' out in the jungle for FlyQuest and comes in with an insane KP Rate sitting at 82.5%, which is the highest in the entire LCS, regardless of position. He has the fifth-highest (7.53) KDA and is averaging the third-most (10.5) assists per game among all players. These three players should be among the most popular separately and in combination.

For 100 Thieves, they are yet another team to make a few roster changes after a rough start. Contractz ($7,400) is the new starting jungler, and Poome ($6,900) is the new starting support. They entered last week and have a record of 1-1 with their new lineup.

After a rough start to the split, Ryoma ($7,800) has turned things around and comes in with five kills or more in four of his last five games. His salary is clearly very favorable, but 100 Thieves are likely to lose this game to FlyQuest. Using Ryoma as a one-off type player isn't a bad idea.

Cody Sun ($8,800) is on a similar path to Ryoma this split in terms of production. He had a tough start and then turned things around, which has him coming in with 30 FanDuel points or more in three of his last six games. Again, he's likely to be on the losing side, so look to use him in limited spots.
