Gulfstream Park Horse Racing Picks for Tuesday 6/30/20
With most of the sports world on pause, it's a great time to dive into horse racing, and FanDuel Racing gives you the chance to do just that.
Starting at 12:00 p.m. EST, we have nine races at Gulfstream Park. Using our numberFire projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).
Dinner at Five and Water Wizard, Race 4
FD Odds: 2/1 and 15/1
This is the opening leg of the .20-cent Rainbow 6 with a mandatory payout. The pool will exceed $2 million and could reach more than $3 million. It's a Maiden Claiming race for fillies and mares sprinting five furlongs on the turf.
The favorite and top pick at numberFire is Dinner at Five (2/1), who has finished runner-up here twice this year, including three weeks ago with a poor break and wide trip just missing by a neck. She was favored in that race in a field of 11 runners like today and now drops down to lower $10k level as the preferred pick.
Shez Stuck Up (9/2) has finished second in four of five starts and just missed three weeks ago as well as the favorite coming off the pace.
Aunt Irena (5/1) and Water Wizard (15/1) finished third and fourth, respectively, and 3 ½ lengths behind top pick Dinner at Five last race. Water Wizard was making up the most ground and is an option at this price despite not showing as much speed in her eight winless races this year.
Sea Lover, Race 7
FD Odds: 5/2
Race 7 is the centerpiece of the Rainbow 6, and half the field of eight will be running for a $75k tag in this Allowance Optional Claimer for three-year-olds sprinting five furlongs on the turf.
There's some good speed in this race, including Legendary Prince (3/1), who is 2-for-3 winning his last two races switching to the turf and hitting a 90 speed figure.
Sea Lover (5/2) is the favorite for master EPO trainer Mike Maker. Claimed by Maker’s barn last race, this colt is 3-for-3. He won on the front end at this level two back while posting a 96 speed figure. FanDuel Racing has implied win odds of 29% for Sea Lover, followed by Legendary Prince (25%) and Ournationonparade (3/1), who is the top pick at numberFire.
Zaino Boyz (7/2) is another speedster breaking from the rail and will be included by many in the Rainbow 6. Mukulwitz (10/1) is a longshot closer that will have much speed to run into.
I'm Prayingforthat, Race 9
FD Odds: 7/2
Race 9 drew a big field of 12 fillies and mares sprinting five furlongs on the turf. It's a $12,500 claimer, and this is where an upset has a better chance to ruin many Rainbow 6 tickets.
Cookie Cove (3/1) has a tough task from the outside No. 12 post, and we’ll try to beat the No. 3 pick of numberFire.
I’m Prayingforthat (7/2) is the top pick of numberFire. She was claimed last race in May by new trainer Carlos David after running second as the favorite. She has just one workout since, and it was three days ago in a fast three-furlong morning work. David was a former assistant trainer to disgraced EPO trainer Jason Service.
Bella Bionda (8/1) won her first race in five starts in April. She sprinted on the lead through a very fast pace and held up at long odds.
Poseidons Princess (12/1) and Ima Daredevil (20/1) make their turf debut.
