Gulfstream Park Horse Racing Picks for Thursday 12/10/20

There are 10 races at Gulfstream Park on Thursday. Which horses should you bet at FanDuel Racing?

It's a great time to dive into horse racing, and FanDuel Racing gives you the chance to do just that.

Starting at 12:35 p.m. EST, we have 10 races at Gulfstream Park. Using numberFire’s projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets.

As always, check the program for scratches and changes, and check the weather and track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions.)

Sigiloso, Race 4

FanDuel Racing Odds: 3/1

Race 4 is a Maiden Claiming race for state-bred 2-year-olds sprinting 6 furlongs. The top pick according to numberFire’s data is longshot Taleoftwobrothers (15/1). He’s sired by Tale of Ekati and has shown good speed from the gate on his worktab. He's a potential surprise winner at a price in his debut and deserves inclusion in trifecta and exacta wagering.

The opening week’s top trainer Antonio Sano and top jockey Luis Saez team up with Sigiloso (3/1), who is projected to hit the board. His speed is even stronger in his workouts leading into the race and is a top pick of Guaranteed Tip Sheet.

Bramble Berry and Royal Meghan, Race 6

FanDuel Racing Odds: 5/1 and 4/1

Race 6 is an Allowance race for state-bred fillies and mares sprinting 6 furlongs. The favorite Miss Peppina (8/5) will be tough in here for EPO trainer Todd Pletcher. She rates fastest in the field according to Daily Horse Picks' data along with Royal Meghan (4/1) and the outside horse in post 8, Bramble Berry (5/1), who is the top pick of numberFire.

Miss Peppina has not raced in three months but has run in three graded stakes races in six starts without hitting the board. This level makes her top class and one to beat. Bramble Berry posted some solid speed figures this summer and fall at Monmouth Park when winning twice and also finishing runner-up twice. She will be running up front looking to hold off Miss Peppina and Royal Meghan, who had a bullet work here last week and finished second and fourth pressing the pace here in October.

Moonlite Strike and Real Talk, Race 8

FanDuel Racing Odds: 5/2 and 3/1

Race 8 is the most intriguing Allowance race of the day with 2-year-olds going 1-mile. The numberFire algorithm projects Kiger (7/2) and stablemate Moonlite Strike (5/2) to decide this race. Those two break from the inside posts for EPO trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr.

Moonlite Strike won last month over a sloppy track as the favorite. Kiger improved in his second start and faces better today, including against Real Talk (3/1), who finished fourth in a stakes race as the favorite last month. Real Talk didn’t take to the sloppy track that day and should show better speed and turn of foot at this distance. Those three should decide this feature race, according to Horse Racing Radar.
