MACK MACK (1) looks set for this event after a narrow 0.3L defeat at the mile here last time out. He's won 2/3 third-up and the booking of Carbery who has won on the galloper before is a positive sign. Looks set to peak now third-up and that would see him getting the job done. EL PATRON (3) won comfortably when sitting up on the speed at this course and distance 9 days ago. This is a tougher race, but he draws to be prominent in the run and Campbell's claim means he'll carry less weight. Likely to be in the finish once again. BELGRANO BELLE (2) stuck on well first-up at Albany and boasts a strong second-up record. Drops back in trip which may be a slight concern, but if the pace is on she's sure to be strong at the finish. FORTUNE'S LUCK (6) hasn't been far away her past couple and must be respected after going around as favourite last start.
