CAPRE OMNIA (1) just missed over this course and distance last time out, beaten just 0.7L. Been awfully close her past couple and maps for the run of the race from the gate. Still has some upside and can get the job done today. TREASURED QUEEN (9) made it back-to-back wins when winning at Kalgoorlie last start. That was 6f though and she drops back in trip this time. Pike does take the ride though which creates intrigue and the inside barrier helps. Can bring up the hat-trick. CRIPPALENKO (5) was no match for the winner over this course and distance last week but wasn't far off his best. Rates well in this field and can be running over the top late. PLATO OR PLOMO (3) got the job done first-up and the second horse has since won. Won't be far away. LITTLE STRAWBERRY (2) usually improved sharply second-up and is not to be discounted.
