On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
Justin Verlander ($12,000 on FanDuel): There's little in the way of suspense at the top of the pitching ranks, and as per usual, the only thing preventing you from rostering Justin Verlander may be his sky-high price tag -- especially on a Coors Field slate. Still, the veteran right-hander rarely has an off night, and he should be able to rack up the punchouts against a Rangers active roster that strikes out 24.2% of the time to righties. Verlander comfortably leads the slate in strikeout rate (35.2%) and SIERA (2.99), and the Rangers predictably have a minuscule 2.86 implied total tonight.
