Justin Upton (rest) is not in Padres' Sunday lineup
Interim Padres' Manager Dave Roberts has left Justin Upton out of todays' lineup against Lance Lynn and the Cardinals. This just seems like a rest day for the Padres' everyday outfielder.
What It Means:
Despite the fact that Justin Upton is hitting an impressive .275/.360/.478 against righties this year, he is still getting a breather today. His replacement is the 32-year-old Will Venable batting 7th. Venable is hitting .258 with a wOBA of .321 and a nERD of .32 through 68 games this year.
