Nationals add Tony Sipp to bullpen
The Washington Nationals and reliever Tony Sipp, formerly of the Houston Astros, agreed on a 1-year contract, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
What It Means:
Sipp spun a career-best 1.86 ERA over 54 appearances out of the Astros' bullpen last season. The left-hander will be 36 in July.
Sipp owns a 3.67 ERA in 580 appearances over 10 major league seasons.
