Diamondbacks' Taijuan Walker (shoulder) shutdown for another six weeks

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Taijuan Walker (shoulder) has been shut down from throwing for six weeks.

What It Means:

Walker was working himself back from Tommy John surgery last summer but will not be out longer after suffering a right capsule strain. If he can avoid future setbacks, Walker could be back in the big leagues for the final months of the season.

Walker was projected for 67 2/3 innings pitched with 52 strikeouts and a 4.64 ERA this season before the latest injury news.
