Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera was arrested Monday night and charged with domestic violence, reports Jim Salisbury and Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

The alleged incident involved his 20-year-old girlfriend and took place at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. According to the police report, the victim "had visible signs of injury to her arms and neck that was sustained after being assaulted by her boyfriend, David Odubel Herrera, during a dispute." Herrera will likely be placed on the restricted list while MLB conducts an investigation.
