Colorado Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland was sent down to Triple-A on Friday.
What It Means:
Freeland will pitch in the minors to work through his struggles after allowing five earned runs on Thursday. Colorado will replace his roster spot with Chris Rusin.
In 59.1 innings pitched this season, Freeland has produced a 7.13 ERA and 49 strikeouts.
