Tampa Bay's Daniel Robertson optioned to Triple-A on Saturday
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Daniel Robertson was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Saturday.
What It Means:
Robertson will spend some time in the minors after struggling with the bat this season. The Rays will replace his roster spot with pitcher Jacob Faria.
In 176 at-bats this season, Robertson produced a .205 average with 2 home runs and 15 RBI.
