Mariners' Mitch Haniger (groin) cleared for non-baseball activity
Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (groin) has been cleared to start light non-baseball activity.
Haniger has been out since June 6 after taking a foul ball off the groin and injuring a testicle. If all goes well, he may be ready to play by the All-Star break, but Seattle has no incentive to rush him back as they are in full rebuilding mode.
Haniger was slashing .220/.314/.463 with 15 homers in 283 plate appearances this season.
