Tyler Chatwood to get the start for the Cubs on Thursday
Chicago Cubs pitcher Tyler Chatwood will start on Thursday versus the New York Mets.
Chatwood is filling the rotation spot left open when Kyle Hendricks landed on the IL with a shoulder injury. Chatwood has been used primarily in relief this season, making just 1 start in 17 appearances.
Chatwood owns a 3.60 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 35 innings pitched. He has struck out 29 batters but also walked 21 this season.
