Austin Voth to be called up to start for Nationals Wednesday
Washington Nationals pitcher Austin Voth will be called up from the minors to start on Wednesday versus the Philadelphia Phillies.
Voth is expected to start the early game in tomorrow's doubleheader with Max Scherzer taking the nightcap. Voth has made 12 starts with a 4.45 ERA in Triple-A this season.
Voth tossed 12 1/3 innings for Washington last season, posting a 6.57 ERA and 1.46 WHIP while striking out 11 and walking 6.
