Max Fried (blister) expected to return to Braves' rotation Sunday
Atlanta Braves pitcher Max Fried (blister) is expected to return to the rotation Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fried went on the IL July 15 with a blister on his left index finger. He is scheduled to trhow bullpen sessions Tuesday and Thursday and if he comes out with no issues, he will start on Sunday.
Fried has posted a 4.08 ERA and 1.39 WHIP while striking out 102 and walking 31 in 103 2/3 innings pitched this season.
