Ian Desmond on Rockies' bench in finale with Nationals
Colorado Rockies center fielder Ian Desmond is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Max Scherzer and the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
Desmond is being replaced in left field by Raimel Tapia. David Dahl is making another start in center.
