CC Sabathia (knee) returning Sunday for Yankees
New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia (knee) will return to the starting rotation on Sunday against the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
Sabathia received the green light after making it through a couple of bullpen sessions without any setbacks. The veteran left-hander has been out since the end of July due to lingering inflammation in his right knee.
Sabathia owns a 4.78 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with 82 strikeouts and 30 walks across 90 1/3 innings (17 starts) this season.
