Atlanta's Johan Camargo optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett
Atlanta Braves utility-man Johan Camargo was sent down to Triple-A on Friday.
What It Means:
The Braves were reportedly looking for a defensive upgrade after Camargo struggled in the field this week. Expect Charlie Culberson to play at shortstop until Dansby Swanson is healthy enough to return from his foot injury.
In 221 at-bats this season, Camargo produced a .222 average with 5 home runs and 29 RBI.
