Jose Abreu absent from White Sox's lineup Thursday afternoon
Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Zach Plesac and the Cleveland Indians.
It's a rare breather for Abreu, just his second of the season. He went 2-for-5 with a 2-run homer on Wednesday in a loss to the Indians. Zack Collins is covering first base for the White Sox on Thursday.
numberFire's models expect Abreu to record 4 homers, 13 RBI, and 11 runs scored over the rest of the season.
