Baltimore Orioles designated hitter Renato Nunez (hand) is not starting in Tuesday's series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Nunez was hit in the left hand by a pitch on Monday. X-rays came back negative, so consider him day-to-day. Trey Mancini is at DH and batting third on Tuesday. Chris Davis is on first base and batting eighth.
Nunez is hitting .249/.317/.464 with 29 homers and 82 RBI in 566 plate appearances this season.
