San Francisco Giants catcher Stephen Vogt is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez and the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
What It Means:
Jaylin Davis (wrist) is at designated hitter Thursday after Vogt did the honors on Wednesday, going 1-for-3 with a 2-run homer, 4 RBI, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Buster Posey (back, hip) is back at catcher for San Francisco.
