Royals' Adalberto Mondesi (shoulder) ruled out for the season
Kansas City Royals infielder Adalberto Mondesi (shoulder) was forced to leave Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Twins.
According to Flanagan, "Mondesi’s season is obviously over." Stay tuned for an update after a physician re-examines the young shortstop's shoulder but it looks like his year is over after it "popped out again and went right back in."
In 415 at-bats this season, Mondesi produced a .263 average with 9 home runs and 62 RBI.
