Lourdes Gurriel scratched for Blue Jays Monday due to illness, Jonathan Davis added to lineup
Toronto Blue Jays left fielder Lourdes Gurriel has been scratched from Monday's starting lineup against the Baltimore Orioles due to illness.
Jonathan Davis is now starting in center field and hitting seventh, with Teoscar Hernandez moving to left and the six-hole. Randal Grichuk is now hitting third after initially being lined up fifth.
Gurriel is hitting .277/.327/.541 with 20 homers, 50 RBI, 6 steals, and 52 runs scored in 343 plate appearances (84 games) this season.
