Joc Pederson sitting Thursday for Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Joey Lucchesi and the San Diego Padres.
Kristopher Negron is replacing Pederson in right field and hitting eighth as the Dodgers wrap up this three-game series in San Diego. David Freese is on cleanup duty. Pederson went 3-for-3 with a pair of solo homers, 3 RBI, and a walk in a 6-4 victory over the Padres on Wednesday.
The Dodgers have an implied total of 4.76 runs as heavy road favorites on Thursday afternoon.
