Michael Conforto sitting on Friday for Mets
New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is not in the lineup on Friday in the team's game against the team's game against the Atlanta Braves.
Conforto is being replaced in right field by Brandon Nimmo against Braves starter Dallas Keuchel. Rene Rivera, Luis Guillorme and Robinson Cano are also headed to the bench.
In 639 plate appearances this season, Conforto has a .257 batting average and an .860 OPS.
