Aledmys Diaz out of Astros' Game 1 lineup Friday afternoon
Houston Astros infielder Aledmys Diaz is not starting Friday afternoon in Game 1 of the American League Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Diaz went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in the Astros' regular-season finale last Sunday. He's yielding third base to Alex Bregman in Friday's postseason opener, with Carlos Correa (back) returning to shortstop and hitting seventh.
The Astros are heavy home favorites in Game 1 and have the second-highest implied total on Friday's four-game slate (4.47 runs).
