Seattle's Mitch Haniger (back) out at least another month
Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (back) remains sidelined after undergoing microdiscectomy surgery.
What It Means:
Haniger will not participate in lifting or other activities for a month after his surgery. According to Johns, the Seattle outfielder "fully expects to return this season" despite an unknown return timeline.
Expect Jake Fraley to see more playing time in the outfield while Haniger is out.
