Yankees' James Paxton (back) could throw next week
New York Yankees pitcher James Paxton (back) could resume throwing around March 5.
What It Means:
Paxton underwent surgery to remove a cyst from his spine on February 5. He's making progress and should be able to make his debut by the beginning of May.
Paxton went 15-6 with a 3.82 ERA in 29 starts last season.
