Rays' Blake Snell (elbow) to practice Tuesday
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell is on track to play catch on Tuesday, per manager Kevin Cash.
Snell felt soreness in his elbow near where he had bone chips removed last season, but received a cortisone shot last week. The Rays won't rush the 2018 American League Cy Young award winner back, but this is a positive sign that he is progressing through the recovery process.
numberFire's projections for the 2020 season have Snell pitching a 3.44 ERA, with 225 strikeouts to 62 walks, as well as 12 wins. Assuming he is healthy, Snell should still go in the first few rounds of fantasy drafts this year.
