White Sox's Lucas Giolito (chest) on track to pitch Friday
Chicago White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito (chest) should make his Cactus League debut Friday against the Chicago Cubs.
Giolito, who was shut down at the end of last season with a strained lat, has eased his way back onto the mound while dealing with chest discomfort. That he appears ready to pitch on Friday is a good sign of his health for the coming season.
numberFire's 2020 projections predict a 4.17 ERA for Giolito, as well as 210 strikeouts to 63 walks and 12 total wins.
