Rays' Brendan McKay (shoulder) to debut Friday
Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Brendan McKay (shoulder) is scheduled to make his spring debut on Friday.
McKay has been limited by shoulder stiffness, but he made it through a bullpen session on Saturday without any issues. The 24-year-old left-hander should be ready for the start of the season, though it remains to be seen if he will make the Rays' Opening Day rotation.
McKay recorded a 5.14 ERA and 1.41 WHIP with 56 strikeouts and 16 walks over 49 innings last year.
