Yankees' Aaron Judge (shoulder) thinks he can make Opening Day
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (shoulder, pectoral) said Thursday that he feels he still has time to be ready for Opening Day.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman considers Judge doubtful for the opener, but Judge has a more optimistic outlook. He's undergoing tests to evaluate discomfort around his right shoulder and pectoral muscle. Judge missed two months last season with an oblique injury.
numberFire's models project Judge to bat .269 with 36 homers, 86 RBI, and 100 runs scored this season.
