Kirby Yates (COVID-19) back with Padres
San Diego Padres reliever Kirby Yates (COVID-19) attended an intrasquad game on Sunday evening.
Yates was late arriving to camp due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis within his family. The 33-year-old right-hander led the majors last year with 41 saves over 60 2/3 innings. He posted career-highs with a 1.19 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 101 strikeouts (41.6 percent rate).
